QS-Pivot is an innovative add-on that turns a 2-actuator QS-210 or QS-220 setup into a unique 2.5 DOF motion configuration. It delivers strong pitch and roll cues and enhances the perception of vertical load transfer and bumps in a compact footprint. Controlled through Qubic Manager and designed for quick installation on popular aluminum-profile cockpits.

QS-Pivot is designed for sim racers who want intense, high-end motion sensations without moving straight to a full 4-actuator layout. When combined with a pair of QS-210 or QS-220 actuators, it creates a unique 2.5 DOF configuration that delivers strong pitch and roll movement and a convincing sense of load transfer, chassis movement, and surface detail, while keeping the system compact and efficient.

The setup is fully integrated with Qubic Manager, so you get the same tuning workflow and profile-based control used across the Qubic ecosystem. Installation is straightforward on most aluminum-profile cockpits, and the Pivot design is a great option for users who want a serious motion entry point with a clear upgrade path.

When you are ready to step up, QS-Pivot can be replaced by adding two more actuators to reach a full 3DOF configuration. Note: the "heave" sensation is simulated as a motion pattern combined from the pitch axis.

QS-Pivot is an accessory — to use it, you must combine it with a pair of QS-210 or QS-220 actuators.

What cockpits is QS-Pivot compatible with?

Does it work with Qubic Manager or does it use different software?

The QS-Pivot + QS-210/QS-220 setup is fully integrated with Qubic Manager and offers the same interface and tuning capabilities as motion platforms.

Is it plug and play?

Yes. Installation on a typical aluminum-profile cockpit is straightforward.

Who is QS-Pivot for?

It’s for sim racing enthusiasts who want an entry point into premium motion sensations without jumping straight into a full-motion platform.

What operating modes does Qubic Manager support when using QS-Pivot?

With QS-Pivot, operation is limited to Heavy-Duty mode to ensure stability and performance within the mechanical limits of the pivot configuration. Performance mode and Q-MODE are not supported in this setup.

What types of movements does QS-Pivot support?

It supports roll (X-axis) and pitch (Y-axis) and simulates heave (Z-axis) using a heave pattern combined from the pitch axis — that’s why it’s referred to as “2.5 DOF”.

Can I later replace QS-Pivot by upgrading with two more actuators?

Yes. When you’re ready to upgrade, you can purchase an additional set of 2 actuators and replace the QS-Pivot. Make sure you buy the same actuator model as your current set (QS-210 or QS-220).

What is the adjustable width / mounting-hole width range?

Overall width is adjustable from 546 mm to 620 mm (min/med/max: 546 / 583 / 620 mm). Mounting holes width range is 490 mm to 599 mm.
